About Charlsey J. Wolff

Charlsey Wolff, married to Bennett Wolff, raised two children, Vanessa and David, in the New Orleans area. She lived three years in France (Montpellier and Nice) prior to returning to the U.S. She attended law school in France, while owning two businesses, a restaurant in Montpellier (Hamburger Stop) and in Nice (delicatessen) and working for Berlitz School of Languages, in Nice. She returned to the United States, and Mrs. Wolff received a Bachelor of Arts in French Literature in 1981 from Southeastern Louisiana University. She graduated from Tulane University Law School cum laude in 1986 and received a Masters in French Literature from The University of New Orleans in 1992.

Mrs. Wolff has practiced in the areas of family law, real estate, labor law, personal injury, workers compensation, longshore and harbor workers’ compensation and social security disability. Additionally, she has served her community through volunteer work, including the Touro Synagogue Sisterhood, and City Park Nola Bark. She was a past President of the New Orleans and Metairie chapter of MADD. Mrs. Wolff currently serves as treasurer of Louisiana Worker’s Advocates. Mrs. Wolff regularly speaks at the Loyola Law School Workers’ Compensation Skills Course. She is a member of the Louisiana Bar Association, the New Orleans Bar Association and the Eastern District of Louisiana.

About Bennett Wolff

Bennett Wolff has dedicated his career to family law and divorce matters. With two degrees in mental health, he has excelled in handling complex custody, relocation and abuse cases. Mr. Wolff also has authored several family law statues and has been appointed by the legislature to be a member of domestic relations committees. He is very passionate about his work, his clients, the best interest of the children and what is legally correct. Mr. Wolff is also an excellent writer and is often asked to assist other attorneys in taking writs and appeals to higher courts.

Mr. Wolff, a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, is recognized as one of the most outstanding family law attorneys in Louisiana. He is one of only eight attorneys in Louisiana that has been invited to join this prestigious organization.

Bennett Wolff is a partner in the law firm of Wolff & Wolff, where he specializes in Family Law.  He graduated from Cornell University and Cum Laude from Loyola University School of Law where he was a member of the Law Review.  He was Chairman of the Family Law Section of the Louisiana State Bar Association (1990-91) and has authored several family law bills.  He was appointed by the Legislature to be on the task force to revise the child support guidelines in 2004, 2007, 2011, and 2015.  He is a member of the Louisiana Law Institute Committee on Family Law.  Mr. Wolff is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.
